Inclusive Connections: Port Houston's 2nd Annual Procurement Day

We had a fantastic experience attending Port Houston's 2nd Annual Inclusive Procurement Day. We learned a lot about Port Houston's vision and economic growth. We were impressed by the business equity team's efforts to support the growth and development of small, minority, and women-owned businesses through various initiatives.

Our interactions with the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council, Women's Business Enterprise Alliance, City of Houston, Fort Bend ISD, HCC, Metro, SBA, and great companies like Jacobs Engineering, Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, and Harvey Construction have been nothing short of inspiring. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with such dedicated and supportive advocates and organizations. The event was so informative for us to learn how to leverage PRISM HUB and WBE/MBE certifications.
