New Hill Country sanctuary
Houston-based developer Epitome Development is investing big – the estimate is between $2 billion and $3 billon – on walkable communities ideally located near job centers around Austin. While keeping a low profile, Epitome’s leaders have literally traveled the world to understand the demand patterns driving location decisions for manufacturers. In Leander, 25 miles north of Austin, Epitome and partner Ashton Gray have identified the perfectly serene Hill Country setting for its latest residential development: Oakwood Hills. The team engaged PRISM to produce a vivid and immersive marketing animation.
Encompassing 337 acres, Oakwood Hills is an idyllic outdoor retreat and a conservation site for wildlife such as the endangered golden-cheeked warbler. The verdant setting will provide the backdrop for homeowners looking for room to breathe; Oakwood Hills boasts spacious lots ranging from 1 to 3 acres connected by miles of scenic nature trails, surrounding hills, wildflowers, and creeks. Interested buyers will be invited to tour the contemporary model home, a one-story stunner seamlessly integrated into the landscape.
Working with Epitome’s design team, PRISM’s captivating animation highlights Oakwood Hills’ modern aesthetic and lush surroundings to captivate potential buyers. The development is set to welcome residents by early 2026.
Oakwood Hills is part of Epitome’s ambitious vision for Central Texas, with projects spanning Round Rock, Hutto, Elgin, and Lockhart. In total, these developments will encompass thousands of acres, featuring 6,000 single-family homes, 1.5 million square feet of industrial space, 600 multifamily units, and a boutique hotel. Together, they signal Epitome’s commitment to developing underserved areas with communities that harmonize natural beauty with modern living.
