The Silicon Valley of Idaho, luxury rebrand on a budget, thankful for YOU
Home inspection on the range
Idaho’s Treasure Valley is a picturesque lowland area in the southwest corner of the state, surrounded by national forests. It is also where a small company has a big vision to change the home inspection industry with an Uber-like interface. HouseCheck created a model to standardize the process and believes it can manage 80% of all home inspections in the U.S. National HouseCheck enlisted architect Richard Kaufman of the Kaufman Collaborative to develop their future home. Conceptual plans call for a 25-30 acre master plan for the corporate headquarters campus building of about 200,000 s.f. to house 1,000 employees.
The plan also includes an open amphitheater, a cantilevered restaurant, underground parking, recreation fields, housing for the HouseCheck Foundation, and a training facility. HouseCheck co-founder Dennis Conforto wanted the architecture to reflect “a modern version of Idaho”, with elements that reference surrounding landmarks like the Sawtooth Mountains and Crater National Park. PRISM used Kaufman’s concepts to produce the overall rendering of the campus. “Working with Jing and the team at PRISM was a very pleasant and gratifying experience. They were able to interpret my conceptual sketches and capture the essence of the project to produce a beautiful rendering in spite of a very demanding timeline,” according to Kaufman. “They added tremendous value to the vision we were trying to create. Only an experienced team can do this successfully, and PRISM performed on time and on budget.”
Elegantly upgraded urban infill
Carroll Organization is getting ready to roll out another ARIUM-branded multifamily property in Houston. ARIUM Uptown West is nearing completion on upgrades in all areas of the facility. Formerly known as The Ava, ARIUM Uptown West will be repositioned as a luxury product in the desirable Galleria sub-market. Leah McVeigh Design and Consulting worked with the owner to plan the design enhancements that would most competitively position the project among several surrounding new construction luxury properties.
The creative and cost-conscience interior design solutions coupled with high-end touches result in a fresh and elegant new space. McVeigh drew inspiration from the existing development and incorporated the ARIUM blue to reflect the new branding.
