Spotlight on worship facilities and Happy Holidays!
Klein UMC Expanding
Klein United Methodist Church has been serving the Spring, TX community for 40 years. As the community has grown, so has the church. Construction is underway on a new classroom building situated between the existing sanctuary and Christian Life Center. The two-story building will provide interior connection and circulation with the adjacent buildings. Studio RED designed the building, expected to open in Fall 2018.
'Tis the Season
The Second Baptist Church (SBC) Cypress Campus has even more to celebrate this Christmas. The new worship building, open just over a year, won two 2017 Solomon Awards for Church Building Design and Youth and Children’s Spaces. The Worship Facilities Solomon Awards recognize churches and their partners for excellence in facilities design, building expansion, operations excellence, innovative use, and technical production. Kirksey designed the 168,000 s.f. Cypress building and a similar one for the SBC Cinco Ranch campus. Jing and PRISM VP of Client Relations, Sarah Amos, are longtime SBC members, making this project extra special.
2017 in Review
Thanks to our current clients and many generous referrals, PRISM had another strong year. Our team stayed busy working on local, national and international projects. We completed 245 total projects, served 81 clients, and worked with 30 new clients. Our work spanned the U.S., with projects in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, Nebraska, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Virginia. We are also working on a project in China; more info in an upcoming newsletter! PRISM wrapped up the year with two enjoyable celebrations. Our Process Manager, Tracy Wang, and her family traveled from Boston to join us. Our team and spouses enjoyed a lovely dinner, and we gathered our full families for a festive lunch. The love of a family is life’s greatest blessing, and for our amazing families, we say Amen!
Help us Help MD Anderson
There’s still time! Every December, PRISM donates 10% of our profits earned on all new rendering and animation projects commissioned during the month to the MD Anderson Children’s Art Project. Please give me a call to talk about your project today!
