Into the blue
The Sunshine State remains near the top of the list for attracting new residents; it was #2 in 2023, behind Texas. Florida’s Miami/Fort Lauderdale/West Palm Beach metro area was number 10 in the nation for population growth. Pompano Beach, just north of Fort Lauderdale, is building more housing for the new residents. Bizi ARQ Architecture & Planners designed Indigo Pompano Beach, an expansive 423-unit apartment community sprawled across 12.8 acres, encompassing a total GSF of 531,603 for developer Atlantic Residential.
Groundbreaking is set for July 2024. PRISM helped Bizi ARQ on several fronts, including client presentations, engagements with city committees, and preparation of permit sets and submittal sheets.
New apartment homes at Indigo Pompano Beach will span nine buildings ranging from two to five stories with contemporary façades and a modern material palette, complemented by six non-residential structures spread throughout the property. These amenity facilities include a clubhouse spanning approximately 8,500 square feet and offering fitness, co-working, club amenities, lounging, gaming, private events, leasing services, a mail/package center, a double-height lobby space, and bathrooms. Additional amenities encompass four detached garage buildings and a maintenance/pet spa facility. Residents will enjoy the resort pool and adjacent grilling stations, an outdoor event lawn, a dog park, and of course – pickleball courts.
